Hello Ma:
I received the Valentines from Yvonne, Phus, and the one from you and Daddy.

Well, nothing much has happened here since the last letter which I wrote you. While putting gasoline in the airplane the other day, the hose slipped out and I got splashed with 100-octane gasoline. My eyes burned for a while. Later on, my pants got sprayed with carbon dioxide when the fire extinguisher valve came open. The safety wire was missing. It looked like snow when it collected on my clothing and ground. Enclosed are some more pictures taken here on the post. I am in a couple of them. Did you receive those bullets in that package yet?

      That's about all for now.

                        Earl

P.S. The latest rumor is that our next stop will be Savannah, Georgia.
