8:45 A.M.
Hello Ma:
Well, so far we haven't left Myrtle Beach. We will probably leave early tomorrow by truck convoy. Savannah, Georgia, is still the latest rumor as to our destination. I got Phus's letter, the book The Raft, and the Reader's Digest. We just got orders to have our things packed by 11:00 A.M. It's now 9:00 A.M. I got a card from Buddy Yates. Well, I haven't time to write anymore now.

            Until later,
Earl
