            Somewhere in New Guinea

Hello Ma:

      Here are some pictures that I took of some crashed Jap planes which were shot down and a Jap transport boat which was bombed and sunk. [See below. - Ed.] Also, a few other pictures. You will notice that five of these pictures have a pencil check mark on the back. I would like you to have three copies of these five pictures made and sent to me. Some of the other boys here want copies. Hope you like the pictures. Also, note the slight change in my address. The A.P.O. #713 is now omitted, as you can see. Well, this is just a short letter - so until next time -
