Hello Ma:

      Received your letters of August 8, 10 and 13th. Glad that you had a nice time at Virginia's. Did Kitty get back from New York yet? I really haven't much to say in this letter, but I thought that I would write now while I have the opportunity. I am all right as usual. Enclosed is a Squadron Pulse and a letter from General Whitehead. [These are no longer in the envelope. However, all of the Squadron Pulse newsletters have been collected from other sources and can be found on the Squadron Pulse page. - Ed.]
