ANOTHER REALITY
WORDS & MUSIC: Earl P. Reinhalter
I. in another reality
you lived just next door.
and I loved you in the springtime
ere you saw your first love's face the first time.
we were in the country
and you never saw him enter town.
II. in another reality,
earth will not revolve.
everything will cease to function,
everyone will freeze in action
as we take several lifetimes
to explore the passion that we feel
in the present reality.
BRIDGE: the world that I'm living in
has left me alone again.
so let the search begin
for
III. another reality
where everyone finds love,
and everyone can be
in the same place so they can see
your smiling face or even touch you
in the night as I do in my mind
in that other reality,
in another reality.
ENDING: the world that I'm living in
has left me alone again.
the world that I'm living in
has left me alone again,
has left me
alone again, alone again, alone,
alone again, alone again, alone.
when I go to places we used to visit,
I ask myself, what kind of world is it
that only has one of you?
'cause I'm
alone again, alone again, alone.
the world that I'm living in
has left me alone...
alone again, alone again, alone.
alone again...
