EARLY 1900s PANORAMA: EIGHTH STREET AT MURDOCH AVENUE & ANN STREET
This is an early 1900s panoramic photo with a built-in distortion that makes the image seem different than the layout on the ground. The streetcar tracks, from right to left, are coming down Eighth Street and going toward Murdoch Avenue, which is just off to the left of the photo. Ann Street is going away from you toward Ninth Street on the left half of the photo. The street going directly off to the bottom right leads to Park Place (see PARK PLACE); it was later covered over by Camden-Clark Hospital. Another, more natural view of this intersection can be seen at CORNER OF EIGHTH STREET, ANN STREET AND MURDOCH AVENUE.
