Christmas decorations are still hanging over Market Street on this snowy twilight of January 16, 1957.
Looking up Market during the 1913 flood, with the Blennerhassett Hotel on the right. The young man
with the cap at the far right, looking at the camera, was Rolla A. Johnston Sr., who later said
he earned enough money ferrying people during the flood to marry Mildred Henderson.
