PARKERSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA:   A VINTAGE PORTRAIT

QUINCY HILL GANG 2007

On Saturday, October 6, a few old hands from the Quincy Hill neighborhood met again at the annual Quincy Hill Gang Reunion at Friendship Park, Spring and Thirteenth streets, in Parkersburg.

Randall Smith and Jim "Red" Wilson share in the excitement.

Shirley Wilson Smith wonders why her old pals stayed home
and sent their parents to the reunion instead.

Former coach Buddy James (left) and Noel Kocher compare
notes to the Big Reds-Washington Irving game of 1958.

Cecil Harris goes back for more grub.

Jean Calebaugh asks, "When does the party start?"

Bob and Myrlin Meves Ruth protect their food from marauding snatchers lurking just out of frame.

Sharyn Tallman greets Janice Meves Kocher (left), Jean Calebaugh and Karen Meves Berry (right).

Bob and Kay Dawson wonder why the reunion isn't being held in Florida.

The Bobs (Dawson and Ruth) hang close to the grill, knowing that's the only way to get served around here.

Hey, it's Ernie DeVol and his wife. Say "Cheese!"

The gang meets at the City Park on Friday night to rehearse all of Saturday's debauchery and fun.
